Duncan Croser's Lynton Road is an interesting end to end shunting layout - complete with automated narrow gauge. It is all Duncans fault that I became interested in 'O' gauge. I operated his Wharf 13 layout for a day and from then on found my ‘OO’ completely unsatisfying and inadequate - it just did not behave quite the same way... |

One more Friend - one of my oldest Friends is Glyn Thomas. Glyn now lives in the States and back in the the 1970s and 80s he and I spent many an hour on Railtours, days out to preserved railways (thanks to his long suffering mum!) and hunting down industrial steam. He is a keen photographer and a mine of information on Railways in a variety of countries including India. |
