Friends Models
occasionally I am called to help exhibit the following layouts...

Bill and Ron are two friends - read about their 0-14 exhibition layout Ha'Penny Bridge by clicking on the picture left.

Ha'Penny Bridge is operated to a timetable and has working interlocked signalling.

Ian Clements' layout High Bridgwater is set on the Somerset & Dorset Railway in BR days.  Ian is an Engineer by profession and builds models to order. His layout designs are fun to work. Particularly when he has sounds and smells going as well...

One more Friend - one of my oldest Friends is Glyn Thomas. Glyn now lives in the States and back in the the 1970s and 80s he and I spent many an hour on Railtours, days out to preserved railways (thanks to his long suffering mum!) and hunting down industrial steam. He is a keen photographer and a mine of information on Railways in a variety of countries including India.
I realised while creating this page that I haven’t many pictures of Glyn but in the picture of Thornaby Depot Roundhouse (1980), right - a rear view between the columns....
